Where does eCBOT post it usually?
Yesterday the Information Hotline did not report anything new during all the outage.

This happened on friday the very first day the ag products started trading in July. eCBOT seems to go down on friday with Ag products being the cause. It's weird because I got a newsletter last night on what to do if eCBOT goes down. Luckily I was done trading after the first 45min. Good luck ya'll.
Whenever there is a limit up in the grains or huge volume in the bonds, just close out the position before it go down. Because i gurantee you it will happen again until they move the system to globex.
IB bulletin says ecbot halted
I received an email at 1:53 yesterday from market operations stating the opening time.
"All markets except Agriculturals and hosted exchanges will reopen at
2:00PM Chicago time. All orders except GTC's were cancelled by the host
and must be reentered. Please call Market Operations at 312-347-4600
with any further questions. "
Although I first heard about the opening at 1:48 because I was on the phone with the Ecbot.
All ECBOT markets are closed due to technical issues. All orders except GTC and GTD orders were cancelled by the host. Markets will be going into Pre-Open momentarily. The re-opening times have not been determined. Market Operations will update the 312-347-4600 phone message as more information becomes available.
I see the e-cbot Market Operations (312-347-4600) but does it exist a way to subscribe to a list server for these alerts?

Short BOT? Shorting the exchange sector? My bet is even ecbot goes down everyday the stock will still go up. So, chances are if u do short it, you will get stuck with your YM trades and get margin calls from your stock broker.
