I've never tried Amazon's EC2 before. I am tempted to use it, because every time I need to calculate something, I can fire it up and instantly have a bunch of crunching power.
I currently use a cheap cheap VPS, but it takes a while to calculate what I need. But it is really cheap.
All my stuff I've written is on the Windows/C#/Sql Server stack.
Was wondering if anyone else had stuff working on VPS and migrated to EC2. Was it easy and cost-effective? Worth it?
What sucked about it?
At the end of the day, would you recommend me looking and trying this stuff out?
