Eating Healthier

The specific amount that constitutes "too many" fruits can vary based on individual health, diet, and metabolic rate. However, a general guideline is to consume 2 to 3 servings of fruit per day
I’m presently at 5, plus a few small prunes in the morning, and a very small handful of raisins that I include in my trail mix of walnuts and pumpkin seeds in the afternoon. I’m planning on reducing it to 4. Thus far I’ve never had an issue with blood sugar, so I guess I have been lucky. I’m very cautious with the remainder of my diet.

Why should someone avoid coconut milk ice cream?

Generally speaking, frozen desserts made with coconut milk will be higher in saturated fat. For example, So Delicious' lower-calorie Vanilla Bean coconut milk ice cream still has 6 grams of saturated fat – or close to a third of one's daily limit per serving.

LOOKS mostly right;
dark chocolate maybe better than milk chocolate.
NOT sure milk chocolate is bad @ all; too much refined sugar maybe......:D:D

What is your goal in dieting?

I occasionally go on diets because I gain weight very quickly. Sweets are a big problem for me (
I get my sweet fill from the fruit I eat. I have almost no added sugar in anything. I say almost because I sometimes mix a tablespoon or two of cream corn into some of my meals that include hot salsa to round out the taste, and have a very occasional small amount of 85% dark chocolate. I used to like adding a bit of sugar to a strong cup of coffee, but I weaned myself off of it. Now I like the pure bitter blast of strong black coffee. I guess we just get used to whatever we do for a time.

I agree, but sometimes the drop in sugar levels is profoundly felt, especially when I'm out of energy or feeling nervous. In these moments, I find myself reaching for something sweet. In short, there are many situations where I need to control these cravings
