You may wish to ask yourself the same question, but in reverse.
I have learned so much from Dr. mercola and his daily emails. It’s all free. It’s a great valuable resource and that’s why I’m sharing it. Isn’t that the point of this board, to support each other?

I kind of assumed this when I joined three years ago, but I ultimately came to feel that the desire of most contributors was to find something (perhaps anything) they could criticize in whatever I had to say. Fortunately, I did not allow this to dissuade me. I stuck to my guns, and as a result, slowly but surely crafted a day trading system that now performs unlike almost any I've ever seen publicized. There are a handful of individuals who offer encouragement now that the system is complete, but I got in the habit a while back of either ignoring negative remarks void of constructive content, or if the comments were derogatory enough, simply adding the member to my ignore list so as not to ever be distracted by anything they had to say again. (I'm generally a relatively positive person, so I tend to protect myself against negative vibes.)

I totally agree. It’s unfortunate to have to wade through responses such as the ones that you’re referring to, but it is the nature of this board. I am in some groups that require being positive and kind and it does make the group a more positive experience. Thank you for your share, I appreciate it!

I would think that steering people away from quackery is being somewhat supportive. Forgive my naivete. Please carry on.

frederick, when I made the suggestion for Dr. mercola it’s because I listen to him for years and I’ve learned a lot from him and I have a background in health. Quackery sites, like fact checking, are just a control mechanism that’s being used right now. There’s nothing valid about it. But that something that you guys have to research and figure out on your own.

    Now maybe you can explain why, when Trump contracted the coronavirus, there was not a single mention of "hydrocloriqine " in his treatment by either him or his doctors? Explain that one to me, would you?

HELP WITH NAVIGATION:

The Vanilla Buttercream Frosting is on page 10 (Post #99), The Microwave Carrot Cake is on page 7 (Post #68) and the Easy Microwave Chocolate Cake is also on page 7 (Post #65).

(By the way, 2 to 2½ minutes in the microwave is not going to be enough for the Carrot Cake. In your microwave, you're going to need to cook it at least 3 minutes, if not 3½.)
 
Recently I cut way back on my intake of sugar, refined carbohydrates, processed foods, red meat and empty calories, the reason being that I was getting a numb-like tingling feeling in the tips of my fingers, which the information I found on the Internet indicated was a sign of pre-diabetes. (I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to become diabetic!)

An unanticipated side affect was that for the first time since I was nine years old, I haven't so much as a hint of a "potbelly," and in fact, find myself nearly sporting six-pack abs for the first time in my life, despite my now being a senior citizen.

But starting tomorrow, I am taking full control of my diet in that my meals will now be 100% separate from the meals enjoyed by the other members of my household. This means I am going to have to start making snacks that will satisfy me between meals, but that are made with ingredients like dates, almond milk, unsweetened cacao, ceylon cinnamon, etc., rather than with dairy milk and sugar.

This thread will be a convenient spot for me to archive the recipes I find since I can't misplace this website, and google will make it easy for me to search for any particular recipe I might want to return to in the future, even if I accidentally forget about it for awhile. And so, I plan to begin posting recipes tomorrow...

On one specific point of interest, we hear a lot about the risks of a high sugar diet. What was your sugar consumption like before you changed your regime?
