EasyLanguage - are there limitations?

For those of you that have experience with easylanguage.

Are there major limitations in programming or writing trading-systems and back-test them?

Are there some major problems with EL that could cause some major problems?

What are your general thoughts on EasyLanguage?

In EL, I've been able to workaround most of the problems that I've encountered, but the most annoying one is that it can't directly handle backtesting a portfolio of symbols on intraday data (this is possible through workarounds or 3rd party apps). I've had to use a macro control program to get the results I want and dump the data into Excel for further analysis.
