Looks like easy money too in the opposite direction "after" it spikes upwards.

P.S. I don't trade options. I'm commenting about your chart.
 
I'm half joking but based on my past observation of internet tips, this means VIX is headed to about 2.50 and will stay there for the rest of summer. :)
