easy money - lots of arbitrage opportunities out there (so easy a caveman can do it)

A 10ms advantage is enough to make a SHITTON of money. IB is great for the small retail trader, even for scalping. But it's not in the major leagues of tools, by a long shot.

The point is you send the order earlier since you get the quote earlier.
