Easiest way to trade gold?

What is the easiest manner in which to trade gold? Is there a fund? A particular index?

I'm a forex guy, looking to do some gold hedging.

ticker symbol GLD, is a gold etf. That is the only one I am aware of.

XAU and GOX trade as options, only XAU is liquid enough to trade.

XAU = philly Gold and Silver index
GOX = philly Gold index

GLD is best stock trading vehicle bet, surprisingly it does not have options on it yet.
