Brooks says to wait for the 5 minute Bar to finish as the Bar can look quite different in the end to what it looks at say the 4.50 minute mark.

But what about the bar that just started after 5min, shell I wait for this bat to? When to wait and when to execute. New bar always start right after previous bar. By this principal I don't know when to pull the trigger.

Therefore he advices to wait for the signal (Engulfing) Candlestick to close, Incase momentum shifts in the final say 30 seconds before it closes and the Engulfing Candlestick becomes a long Wick Candlestick.

I personally believe more in understanding how between 7000 and 32000 contracts are spread within a five-minute bar than 4 points.OHLC.

He can't. He can't say if the tail of the bar contain imbalance or rotation ( for example). Same for the whole bar. But maybe he can.. Who knows.
