trading ranges and chop have the same market action but as time frames keep getting smaller and smaller and smaller the fluctuations get smaller ,the patterns get smaller, and you have to less and less time to recognize and digest what the market is telling you.

if you can manage it, you can just go down a time frame or two and trade any chop.

for people who cant manage it that is noise to them.

any bull reversal bar may be a part of a bear flag

and a bear reversal bar may be part of a bull flag.

follow through determines whether the reversal will last or if it will just become a flag .

so only in hindsight is a reversal bar a reversal bar.

everything is everything only in hindsight in TA and if it is not everything, then it is something else.

context may hint at what may happen, what is likely to happen, but you need confirmation.

once you get confirmation, probability is higher but reward is lower.
