Earthquake & Tsunami in Japan Happening Now

Quote from benwm:

my main concern is that radioactive leak
Kyodo news agency just said the radioactivity levels are higher

I hope they can get that thing under control

The only reliable information is probably what is coming from the operator TEPCO. Here's what they have to say:

http://www.tepco.co.jp/en/press/corp-com/release/11031203-e.html

And their main news page here:

It seems there is no confirmed radiation release outside the plant. We will have to wait and see what happens, but I suspect those wishing for a disaster are going to be disappointed.

What is happening in the rest of Japan is vastly worse than the likely outcome at these plants.

Remember nobody died from the Three Mile Island accident.

Come on, don't fall for that bs. It's obviously someone trying to get that exact reaction out of you.

with jews it's always about money

Not true. I'm one, and I had a chance to triple my money in 3 minutes, as I was here in Tokyo and had a 20 second warning on TV that a big one was coming. True, my own safety was first in mind. But even if I had been elsewhere, taking advantage of others' misfortune of this type is not in my blood.

A large number of tourists are thought to be among 400 passengers feared drowned after a high-speed bullet train and cruise ship went missing following the devastating Japanese earthquake earlier today. The massive earthquake - 8,000 times stronger than the one that hist New Zealand last month - sent a catastrophic 33 foot tsunami hurtling across the Pacific Ocean.

The Japanese PM just said on TV that the explosion did not damage the reactor and there was no leak. Details are hard for me to explain in English but it looks as though we can rest easy for now.

All info pointed to that tsunami killed more people than building damages or falling debris did.

Japan will recover from all this unfortunate event soon, my deepest condolences and sympathy go to family lost their love one.

AMT4SWA, thanks for that info, I may buy some of that potassium iodide on my way to drug store today, I need refill some pills today anyway.

There should be no shame on people who taking advantages on other people's misfortune as long as they did this in proper and legal mean. Life will go on.
