Earth 2.0 - People, eager to buy anything.

Can people do anything with it except speculation? At least people actually do something with the real estate in Second Life and the items/gold in World of Warcraft.
 
This is just insane. Virtual land with real money... What could go wrong. Nothing new as it reminds me of second life. Secondife was supposed to be some kind of virtual world where millions were going to gather and pay real money for virtual goods and services. It was hyped in the early 2000s but forgotten about soon after. It's still around but other virtual worlds have sprung up over the last decade where avatars and over the top scenic spaces have developed where fools still pay real money to live in a virtual world.
