No need to worry about earnings this quarter, they have lowered the earnings bar so LOW that every company, well at least 75% of the companies in the s&p, will come in beating by at least 10-15%.

The cheap dollar is going to give a huge boost to corporate profits, some bulls are cheering for a weaker dollar because its going to drive export volumes, so lets keep the dollar weak.
 
The profits are fake, this is only going to help in the short term but in the long term things are just going to get much much worse.

Agree, the reason why most of these companies have been showing some good earnings over the last 2 quarters is due to cost cutting and plenty of layoffs, that only works for so long.
