I am trying to exit that ticker myself. No way the market makers are going to let you out. And, be careful using the mid point of bid/ask. It is probably priced to take a pound of flesh if it executes.

If you don't have onerous cancellation fees. Try "walking" the order price based on your model in nickel increments. You will be shocked how much the market ignores you.

That's what I tried on Friday and yesterday, but wasn't sure should I continue to walk the price or should I wait more. I don't know what to expect from bid/ask spread on Thursday and Friday, if stock is still 6% over the short call strike.
The price model shows that the spread has a full value, even with the current small drop. I don't know should I expect 7.5 (spread value) or some percent lower, like 5% or 10%.
Yesterday I stopped walking the price at 7.35 and came here to see what more experience traders think. I'll walk it more (perhaps another 0.1 or 0.15), but don't want to give in too much to Shylock! ;-)

We are the Shylocks here, fortunately. We want redeploy our funds quickly even though we are locked into a low probability of loss.

It would just drive me batty if I am short a lotto ticket in the market and the other side gets the payout from me.

I'm sure the source of your troubles is Amazon is lagging the market. Hopefully, tomorrow is catch up day. Otherwise, fire sale exit.

I closed it for 7.35. The bid/ask spreads were getting tighter and I was happy to close it, and put that profit into another play.

TWTR had a technically serious resistance past 40, if you knew what you were doing you would know that was a short or reverse position to short point/area.
