You made $15.00 but probably spent $30 on commissions... not worth it.
This was my first trade with IB, profit was $12.00 after commissions.
I'm looking into how they came up with $3.00 for commissions. I thought it was $2.00 per contract for Canadian accounts, but yip1997 pointed out that it's $0.75 per contract for US options.

Yes..with BMO Investorline you have to trade in 20+ contracts to bring the commission down per contract. I never would have trade 1 $0.46 option contract with BMO.
My mistake.... commission was only $2.00 ($1.00 x 2), my open price was $0.46 - not $0.45 - hence the lost $1.00.
The minimum commission for each trade is $1.00. If you trade only 1 contract, they will charge you $1 for each trade.
BTW, if you open a US account, the commission charge for each contract is 0.70 with the minium charge of $1.00.
[edit] there is a min monthly charge of $10 if the total commission is less than that amount.
