Earn2Trade - delay in live account setup

Just an observation - while E2T support is amazing and contactable via chat, email or phone, it is quite the opposite for Helios where you can only send an email and get a reply - or not. Perhaps they could make themselves available via Skype or other live chat app.

I definitely reached out to them about it, but keep in mind that they are a trading firm. I don't know if they have too much of an interest in taking chats requests, but it's their call of course.

Because the individual passed on Friday, which means the account probably wasn't even processed (manually checked) until Monday. That means even the certificate would likely go out Monday or Tuesday before Helios even gets notified of the pass. Therefore, Helios likely got notified of the pass by Wednesday or even Thursday, which is yesterday or the day before yesterday. We are not one company. It just doesn't seem like grounds to be concerned about whether the company stopped functioning if emails weren't responded to in one or two days, or refer to communication between the companies as a "vicious cycle". It seems to me to be a personal issue that could be resolved by reaching out to the support or me personally, I just don't see what is the need for a thread about it.

If you have a solid reputation then you shouldn’t be worried about this kind of behavior.

Maybe he’s not the only one in this situation so you guys better have to clarify the circumstances in this single thread than a thousand times, individually.

I’ve already seen thread about pending wires and other fearful events. The entire web can browse for keywords on the Internet and find a similar situation for feedback.

Done.

You’ve clarified the problem.

Thanks.

I'm not worried at all, I was simply saying that it is something that could be dealt with privately with ease. On the other hand, you've seen threads about pending wires and other fearful events about Helios? I'd be interested to see those in case there have been no responses from our company on the matter.

No that was about another company.
Don’t worry about it.

Wasn’t speaking about you guys,
Just generalities.

But here is one thread in question:

...I just don't see what is the need for a thread about it.

I am your customer. Satisfy my wants, add personal attention and a friendly touch, and I will become a walking advertisement for your products and services. Ignore my wants, show carelessness, inattention and poor manners, and I will simply cease to exist as far as you are concerned.

I am sophisticated much more so than I was a few years ago. My needs are more complex. I have grown accustomed to better things. I have money to spend. My ego needs the nourishment of a friendly, personal greeting from you. It is important to me that you appreciate my business. After all, when I buy your products and services, my money is feeding you.

I am a perfectionist. I want the best I can get for the money I spend. When I am dissatisfied, then take heed. The source of my discontent lies in something you, or the products you sell, have failed to do. Find that source and eliminate it, or you will lose my business and that of all my friends as well; for when I criticize your products or services, I will talk to anyone who will listen.

I am fickle. Other businesses continually beckon to me with offers of “more for my money.” To keep my business, you must prove to me again and again that I have made a wise choice in selecting you and your products and services above all others.

Mark it, dude.

Helios sent out emails about the delays because of broker change and that everybody is now working from home it may take a bit longer.

Also their response and sending out documents/agreements has been great. Takes about 3-4 days to finish all the paperwork and than wait for the account to be set up. That alone takes about 3-5 days without the covid 19 and possibly longer because of it. But the whole thing takes about 2-3 weeks after you pass the gauntlet.

Yes, that’s generally the timeline. We think it should be a bit quicker soon. From what I understand the IB has also stepped into help process applications, so hopefully this will result in quicker setup times.

Peblo did you ever get your account setup? I passed around the same time as you and am still waiting

Can you DM me your name and I will ask Helios what is the situation on your account?

I replied via PM and feel I should also do it here - yes, the account has been set up. Everything is working. E2T/Helios have been great as always. And no, I am not being gratified by them for writing this :)
My view is this - I want my prop firm to be strong and in a good financial position. If I write positive (and, more importantly, TRUE) statements about them, it will encourage more custom, more revenue and I will feel more confident that they stay in business.
