That’s a silly analogy of very different business models.
What is the actual value of the simulated account, how much do I see when I look at the account value in the summary 25k or $2500? If I was to get funded for 25K, would see that amount in the account balance or $2500.
Earlier in this thread, it was stated that the actual value was $2500, if this is so, how could one trade ES with cme margins of $7700 that was stated by Ryan.
The way I am reading this, the simulation account would show 25k and the actual account should show $2500.

Great question.
Whatever the amount they offer you, is the actual value of the account. So if it was $25,000 and (without checking) I believe ES is about $5400 margin, then you would be able to trade 4 ES contracts until you were able to profit enough to cover the 5th contract. That would take about $2,000 profit to cover the extra margin needed.

I am a retired engineer and I can tell you the "fee" for an entry level job is a college education. When I have looked for a more senior position I have had to take tests to show I know the job I am applying for. Some engineering jobs require a Professional Engineer, which means more tests at the state level. Ford or Google require this training before hiring and I guarantee it costs more than any Prop training.
I’ve never held an engineering position that required a PE that more of a nice to have(never saw where it was even useful in automotive coming from software electrical side of things) I’ve also worked in military and aviation industry’s. And even if that was the case the Pe is a state manidated test not an employer. No experienced engineer will pay a potential employer for the chance of a job(maybe in a depression) some recent grads non experienced ones will though. I think that’s the point the con post was making. This being good or bad will be based on the person an experienced person will say it’s bad a novice may say it a good thing because I don’t have the experience otherwise
Lets say I have 25K of my own money to fund a Futures acct with. Lets say I pay $2.56/RT + $199.00/month with Tradovate.
But here with Earn2Trade I can keep my money and trade for giving up 20% of my profits. Do they have a free platform to use that is a true commish free arrangement without any pass through fees?...such as Exchange fees...NFA fees...etc?
