I've just realised that ES has me on block hahaha! For a view that offers an alternative to his own I assume. So I wonder what ES does when the market proffers a different reality... blocks it?

Work on yourself before you work on any systems. And definitely lay off the discretionary play. You haven't got the game to make it with that angle

I recall many many years ago, I once couldnt accept criticism.
I was single, gone thru a divorce and was knocking around with a bunch of women in a singles club.
They made a comment about my clothing, "..you wear the wrong clothes, have a terrible dress sense".
I protested as usual, then they said they would take me to a department store and chose my clothing.
At the store they chose my clothes which I disagreed with but after much debate I reluctantly agreed to buy. They chose loose fitting clothes, I used to wear tight fitting clothes.
Now I wear loose fitting clothes.
Being able to accept criticism is also being able to question yourself, if you can't do the latter, you will not accept the former and vice versa.

I hear you. It's a fine line in accepting criticism and making changes to not being confident in yourself and being easily led into making changes. Conversely, confidence in oneself allows changes and refinements to be made without worrying about the loss of self. Is that clear as mud lol!?

I see you just fine, I been blocked as well, LOL. I lost the "happiest" feelings long ago, and thankfully the "unhappiest" feelings as well, it just numbers to me, I do get a kick of discovering something that works well after hundreds of hours of back testing.

But I am not giving out any "gifts" or "EA's" that came from someone else, big whoop something done well for 2 months? like where is 10 years of back testing if you going to broadcast giving gifts away, just annoyed as it only brings in more unskilled people thinking "WOW, holy grail". But I have seen many like ES, they try to get YOU to back test and further develop something on the web.

But we all have problems in life, am no different in my own weird ways.

Time to run down to Starbucks for a nonfat pumpkin latter and no whip, yea, can't fit the calories into todays diet.

Yes. The "happiest" feelings are best obtained outside of the trading arena.
I get a sense of satisfaction from trading.. trading correctly.

What!!! Someone blocked Handle??? Handle is the straightest shooter on ET with every post well thought out; never degrading or vulgar and always helpful. Unbelievable that anyone could block the guy that exemplifies everything that ET should be about. The only guy I have ever blocked is the guy that posted a picture of a hand full or excrement and I think I will give him a second chance. (if I can figure out how to unblock)

I have every right to choose who I want to share my journey/ experience with. Do not take it personal.

Apparantly they are going to great lengths to post knowing that they are on ignore and blocked. If they want to read this post they must read it as a guest...that is truly a sick and weak mind if they go to that great of a length to stalk me.

I will be trading tomorrow Morning at 6:30 mst. We shall see what the bonds give (Mondays are tough). Thanks for reading.

I realized you were right again...I made a mistake with you in many ways. oh well too late now...

But I tried to trade discretionarily. It's just that I do not have a tradeable edge that fits me. I will try to continue in this gauntlet to trade the bonds and end the experimentation. I think I have solved my discretionary decision problem with a tiered bracket trade that removes some of the decisions to take a partial or exit all. I get my stop loss to breakeven quickly and if I miss the move well...so be it. We shall see. I should be ok with modifying the decision of when to exit as the entry gives me a favorable direction 80% of the time during RTH.

Please do not stalk me. You have made your statements and I got them. Posted once is powerful...posted more than once weakens them.

With all respect, I would try and move away from a discretionary form of trading and to a more rigid systematic rule bound approach.
Your updates/musings as I interpreted them were overly emotive and dopamine filled.

As I said previously, Helios is very interested in how a trader reacts when they dig a hole because all traders dig a hole. You have a lot of time left to trade so just go at it and give it your best shot. PS: I did figure out how to unblock and did so.

I am trying. TRS was right though. Unless I can bracket the entry and not left to my own devices I will not make it.I am all over the place. I now just trade the Bonds during RTH...it is so boring. I have another thread that I am have fun in though...
