Hmmmmmm

So futures up, companies adding hundreds of billions in market cap over news that this drug might not be effective?

so the original news should be taken with a grain of salt!!!! Ah ha.

I saw that too. Do you think it is market manipulation?

Okay confused, guess wait, like the idea they have 500,000 doses already, not sure why they'd have that many hopefully already shipped to countrys ready for release, when it'll take till end of year for the next 500,000 to be made.

Got to hope it's right, this nightmare goes away, early cases get treated before needing hospital hopefully and normality resumes.

Maybe just a pipe dream, sure something else will continue to screw up 2020.

Don't you worry...the fed has the printing press. More stimulus is coming... more free handouts ...trillions more ready to go!!!!

Do you think the fed will prevent the market from going down further? How much do they have to print?

  • The University of Chicago Medicine recruited 125 people with Covid-19
  • two Phase 3 clinical trials
  • 113 had severe disease
  • All the patients been treated with daily infusions of remdesivir
  • "The best news is that most of our patients have already been discharged, which is great. We've only had two patients perish," said Kathleen Mullane, the University of Chicago infectious disease specialist overseeing the remdesivir studies for the hospital.
Just if you ask yourself what the rally in S&P Globex is all about....

That;
+ US getting back to work. And come to find out, US as a whole does not have the 10% virus kill rate like Italy does. Italy also has [1] a lot of old folks[2] socialized med [3] heavy SMOKING. And now we find out, with gov payments, if some gets run over by a bus with the virus=they call that a virus death.
But most of the trends in DAL are still down+ who thinks a gov loan will help DAL in the long run?? As far as Warren Buffet buying DAL, ok , he would prefer a lower price also.LOL

Not very fair to shorts is it, bit cheaty for bulls a market that only ever goes up.

The markets will never have another day where free markets let it go where its supposed to go....just imagine a true markets with ZERO intervention, no stock buy backs, no insider trading, no algorithmic trading forces, no front running the systems, no fed printing, no QE or TARP or any other acronyms....
The market is dependent on the fed and every helping force it can find....

The fed steps in each and every time and they will continue to do so. More stimulus is coming. They already did around $6 trillion or so. I think they do many trillions more and if it so happens the quarantine takes longer to lift and unemployment stays higher than they expect they will do more stimulus checks to individuals, extend unemployment and probably bring rates negative. I think they could easily print 2/3 of our national gdp to keep the economy propped up. Possibly even more than that. No worries fed has the money to keep markets and investors happy happy happy..
