This is a usefull and basic thing that ESignal can do and I use it for to scan quickly chart from this list inside the quote sheet. The graphic will be draw quicjly if the data have download them before. This feature is a lot faster than RT for to do the samething, and for as daytrader I have never find more faster in remote trading until now.
 
I thought I would be "environmentally sound" and not start a whole new eSignal thread when I just have a question and this thread seems appropriate.

I am trying some modifications of the MACD. However, eSignal's builtin MACD does not allow unlimited flexibility. I was wondering if anyone has an eSignal EFS which does not call the MACD study, but, instead, codes everything from scratch.

NO! eSignal can't backtest for peanuts. It's a great real-time charting product but forget it for backtesting.
