E-Signal Problem

Quote from sculptor66:

I'm too having problems with the daily charts. But the interesting thing is, only the daily charts of the symbols displayed during the most recent shutdown of eSignal won't load. For example, if YM #F was visible while exiting eSignal and I restart it, I can get no daily chart of YM #F, status in the cursor window just stays at "Req Sent..." - BUT(!) I can get daily charts of YM U8 or YM 1!.

This is very strange and extremely annoying. I thought eSignal were on the right track after the very promising version 10.1 of their software, and now this. It sucks...

If you hold down the Ctrl button and click on the "Req Sent..." box on the chart it attempts to reload the chart from scratch. I had the same problem today and the reload worked.

Early this morning one of eSignal's Network Operation Centers was affected by a power outage on the West coast. This has affected some clients attempting to connect to the eSignal data farm. eSignal is presently recovering from this power outage and should have all servers operational soon.

If you experience difficulty connecting to the eSignal data farm it is most likely due to this power outage.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

That condo owner member boards have more foresight to keep ice machines working via generators during an outage than a company traders rely on for continuous, real-time data, isn't good news, for traders, or their business prospect, anyway.
