E-mini Futures Retail

Hi guys -

I need a recommendation for a friend looking to daytrade e-minis. He would like reliable service and low margins preferably.

I know this must have been discussed a million times. Sorry.

My opinion:

Brokers with trading platforms

Cybertrader or TradeStation and maybe Interactive Brokers. (don't know much about IB but seems to get good reveiws)


Platforms without broker service would be Esignal or Ensign.

tell your friend not to "throw his money away"

if he has not successfully trade the ETF's first

have him try SPY for 100 shares

or QQQQ for 200 shares

if he is able to do this for a month or a few months preferably

successfully ... he might then be ready for the higher leverage

futures provide

This guy is looking for low margin so I dont think reason is going to appeal to him. I think Global has $500 margins. They will probaly send the limo for him.
