It seems as though the government has not moved aggressively towards changing in this direction....
The type of technology needed would be from a company such as Oracle...or even Google...
I would think that a company such as Google could setup a template for the governments of most any country....
This is where going straight to a consumption tax...on a state by state basis makes a lot of sense...
The very costs of taxation would drop like a stone...
Furthermore voting...contract bidding....and full public updates and disclosures...info on public officials... would be an easy task...
Hope it comes sooner rather than later...
