E-book reader + E-note

I have a Kindle, but find the screen too small for reading textbooks. Also, I wanna read books as well as taking notes (not on the books, seperate note files). Which means that I should be looking for a tablet instead of a pure bookreader.

Which note taking app/software do you like (i am leaning towards OneNote).

Which device do you think can best accomplish my reading need ? (i only use it for reading and notes).

I am looking at Sony Tap 11 (Note Anytime for notes)

Kindle offers their App on most computers and tablets. I use Kindle on my Android tablet. There are many note taking applications available for Android that can be used with Kindle.
