I've been keeping one eye on the DX (dollar index) while trading index futures. What is a good way to keep an eye on the dollar's movement once the DX stops trading in the afternoon?

if EUR GBP and CHF are falling, you can bet DX is going up

True, but I'd still like to be able to watch a chart of something closer to dollar value (in the late afternoon). Know of any other?

THE currency pairs , especially euro.usd..commodities, try UUP etf there's options on that too, maybe commodity currencies cad..aus ..gold
