DVI-D (Male) to DVI-I (Female)? Will it Work?

Upgrading my system with 2 x NVS 400 Quadro Video Cards. Here: http://compeve.com/index.php?main_page=pro...fcc7c4e2756b5f7

The card supports two (2) LFH-59 split-out cables. The LFH cables are dual DVI-I output (female). Here: http://compeve.com/index.php?main_page=pro...fcc7c4e2756b5f7

I plan to buy DVI-D input, LCD monitors. Will the male DVI-D (monitor cable) to female DVI-I (LFH splitout) work? And will the resolution be compromised, if at all? Thanks.

Should be fine. I have that setup with NVS285 dual head cards and the same DMS-59 cable.

The DVI-I output just means that it includes the extra 4 pins for an analog signal - which don't get in the way of the DVI-D (digital only) plug.
