So you are saying that any mainstream outlet "found" this legal filing over the weekend. It appears to have been only "discovered" by media outlets on Monday morning and then got traction.

Pundits can argue over the narrative (and they are) -- but this latest information into the narrative was a Monday event. It's not like OAN, Newsmax, and FOX found the legal filing on Friday and then planned all weekend planning their narrative. They "found" the document on Monday and were rolling with their standard narrative within 10 minutes. Do you really think these right-wing network would have held off all weekend planning their narrative rather than running with the story immediately?

The Fox News effort to hype a filing by Trump DOJ special counsel John Durham was undermined as the prosecutor "distanced himself on Thursday from false reports by right-wing news outlets that a motion he recently filed said Hillary Clinton’s campaign had paid to spy on Trump White House servers," The New York Times reports.
