here is one of my poems that got published
I Didnât Learn a Thing
I did not learn a thing that night.
Going further then the eye could see.
Swaying fast from tree to tree.
Leaving music behind to speak,
of my record breaking deed.
How dare they call me drunk.
I was as sober as he or she.
Jealous was the road believe you me.
I was reaching light speed when it set my car free.
Free to defy gravity, change shape at will.
Free to ignore my controls, as we headed toward a hill.
But it didnât hurt me, it knew that much.
So I walked out fine, without injury or scratch.
Today I drive fast faster and more.
Today I am just a reckless as the night before.
Relying on ABS brakes, every time I stop.
Trying not to repeat mistakes, and run from a cop.
As for that jealous road whose fault this is.
We still donât speak, and we never will.
