Introduction
I'm Jack Hershey and have been investing since 1957 with a combo of TA and FA. I have been in some beta tests of IBD stuff and have taken many IBD based seminars. I trade commodities futures indexes intraday. Others run an MSN site for my methods.

What topics could you prepare for leading a group discussion?
Broad array of TA topics. FA considerations for selecting stock universes. Position trading (6 to 8 day long cycle for 50% of available profits (10%, nominally)). Commodities futures index trading using SCT (Seamless Continuous Trading) approach.

Could you comment on your investment level of experience?
I am an expert commodities trader and I have done investing on an expert level since about 1960.

Why did you join the group?
To connect with other active investors and traders to share knowledge, experiences and skills."

there's really no need to go back and forth.... this should settle everything i imagined.

if all you can do is show a random chart here and there... then i'm sorry, this system is just like all the other paid services out there.... where they show you a few random pictures of working trades and pass it off as a consistent strategy.

The simple thing for you to do is go look it up.

The link showing effort you are requesting would be repetitive and time consuming.

One of the terrific features of "looking it up" is that you wind up on a time line of information. As you sit there and take note, you then can go back in time or ahead in time to satisfy each of the Q's that are raised as you continue to "look up" what you then further need to answer the questions you may have.

Everything we have been doing is designed to help people learn effectively and efficiently.

If you look up whether this algorithm works, you will find that those who looked before you who didn't learn it feel it is unbelievable and astonishing. Others who have looked up to see if it works have found out, by critical thinking, that they need to know "IF IT WORKS FOR THEM". Here I can help you out a little. It is not going to work for you, ever. You will never do the "assessor" level of learning to find out how to learn to make high velocity money. You have built a canyon that separates you from what we do and support from a learning perspective.

Most people like you just go away or make occasional snide remarks. There are a few who have perfected toiling steadily and thoughtlessly on making disparaging remarks and/or playing a role of protecting others from this knowledge, skills and experience set. It is your choice among these alternatives and this high velocity trading approach is something you have closed as a posibility because of the consequences of former decisions. You have joined the majority in the usual ways.
 
how would trade records and full day's video recording not work??

we are after results aren't we?

now, spyder and hershey both said that this video exists.... may you perhaps lend your assitance? =D

so how come it wont help? because you dont believe in the records from your own trades ?

I am so glad you have reached the conclusions that you have and now believe. Thank you for continuing you thought process to the logical conclusion for a person such as yourself.

For you, the struggle is over and complete. You know that there are many many ways to trade and make money. The bridge from where any person stands to any of these methods of making money is a similar path. as you consider any method, you will find the same canyon between you and that method.

I recommend you go to a Trader's Expo and mill around with similar thousands of people. Among them you will see advocates of various presenters and you can take some of these aside and find out how they got to be advocates and what the consequences are.

Some methods come and go. My fav is SPM. If you look it up, you will see why and you can reject it just like you rejected PVT and SCT.
 
i'm not rejecting anything.... i've never said your system is a bad system... all i said was... for such a popular system, and well defended system... there should at least be a bit of prove you know?

if there's no live trades to back it up, or real recordings ofa full day's trading.... isn't it just like the million garbage strategies out there online?

now this is of no concerns to me..... however, i just think a simple video link would settle all this problem... and you wont ever have to reply to a post like this again... agree or disagree?

instead of posting 1000 threads trying to explain... a video link which only takes 1 line would suffice.... yet nobody is willing to do so. Especially when such thing already existed... or does it?

if it does... you can save all the sentences you want to write for me, and instead, just post the link.. 'cuz that will answer everything.

Yes in your eyes, as a person who hasn't "looked it up" IT IS: just like the million garbage strategies out there online?

Your post is a generic type of post; you could look up 1,000's of identical posts just like it from since email and the interactive web was invented and before that when new people in meetings where the approach was continuing to be discussed.

I remember camera people and participants being recorded on video ( one such occurance had ten one hour long videos) and they were subsequently copied over and over and over. Did this video series settle "all this problem"? As you were told, No it did not settle this problem. Years and years ago we all loved to settle this problem over and over and over.

We ran a local meeting for as long as I was able. It has morphed into groups of traders.

So now, it is said that about 1990 a critical mass was reached and the usual things happened. The first 30 years were a nice experience and a lot of things improved. this last 20 years, the global electronic system has been very enabling for anyone who wants to participate.

Maybe you will, someday, find out how to change your viewpoint about how the world works. I have no problem with your viewpoint and I encourage you to keep thinking the way you do.

Oh come on, Jack, ….. come on……setting aside the trading aspect altogether, how can you say that?

Are you denying, here and now, that your conveyance of information is as palatable as Steven Hawkins explaining quantum physics to a group of 1st graders?? If you can not or refuse to speak in understandable terms, then what’s the point? Is it so you will be revered as a great mind? Well in trading it doesn’t work quite that way. Now im not here to shoot down your trading ability or your methods, my hat’s off to any trader that’s been around the same time Jesse Livermore was alive. Or the fact that you are a herald for IBD.
( I won’t go into here how dangerous it is to buy their top RS stocks) No, my beef is how you present your ideas.
I have visited several other trading communities outside of ET, and almost everyone that mentions your name state the same as what I have.

It is tough to be in your shoes. No one here understands that, no one. But I do. I know that you are in a room with two doors … one opens out, the other opens in. The one that opens out has the 15 minutes behind it. The other one that opens in has the reaper behind it.. and you’re fumbling with the keys to open the door out, before the other opens in.
