There is nothing common about hunter's personal expenditures not related to his campaign being paid using campaign funds. These expenditure, if proved, are gross violations, the kind one seldom sees, thank goodness. To say that he is being framed by the deep state is absurd once you look at the charges. It's obvious he's dead meat and the worst kind of liar, from his supporters viewpoint, an incompetent one! What a complete jerk he has turned out to be. Do not throw in with someone like that. Do not buy his rhetoric. You'll end up looking as bad as he does.
