Trying to read / send email on old style feature phones is just damn right nasty.

Nokia 3310 as a phone without D then a seperate 7" Tablet for Email activity maybe ?? or cheap Smart phone, do you need email all the time or leave this at home/office ??

Yeah, but one can assume he's not like you and trying to get dates with Blondie IV on the flippin thing.
That Blackberry will work just fine.

If u want music and email you'll need a smartphone. Dumb phones don't do music and email well.

BlackBerry is the inbetween, just not that small or great a battery life.

HATE them personally but hey that's just me!!

My last Blackberry, a Blackberry Bold 9930, was actually a decent smart phone. I still miss the keyboard, but don't think I could go back after having an Android.

What else is there? You listed all the features that a modern phone has in your requirements. Lol. It's like asking to live in the cave but the must haves: electricity, computer, a/c, a girl to fuxx,....and a cleaning robot

Don't install apps then. Simple as that. And deactivate stock apps. What is then still bothering you? Or is understatement the new self expression in NYC?
