Where's all the anger at Bush for praising Obama, and for setting the policies that Obama has continued in attempting to resolve the financial meltdown???!!!!!!!

Obama's policies may be flawed, and Geithner may be ineffective, but the right wing is incredibly dishonest and/or dense.

Obama's policies may be flawed, and Geithner may be ineffective, but the right wing is incredibly dishonest and/or dense.

The "right wing" you despise so was the only group opposing these bailouts when Bush and the POS Hank Paulson first proposed them. Nervous Nellies like John McCain smelled the stench but meekly went along with them, as did the vast majority of democrats. Only the right wingers, ie republican house members, opposed it. Bush's minions attacked them, as did Pelosi. Turns out, they were right. Bailout money has been wasted on bonuses for the very people who caused the problem, or sent to foreign banks, hedge funds and of course, Paulson's firm GS.

Exactly, and since the new administration took office American's haven't seen anything new. Only the right wing took issue with Geithner's promotion; on his role in throwing money at AIG and also his tax cheating, and now, looky looky, 73 new AIG millionaires (your tax payer $s at work) , while the millions of others face unemployment. Outstanding.

Yeah really fake conflicts. I would think Valerie Plame, Al Gore, Paul Wellstone, (and from the evil side) Scooter Libby would disagree that conflicts are "fake"

I've said plenty of bad things about Bush. And McCain. And the current GOP for that matter, these people are not going to be a whole lot better than Obama. They'd be better than Obama. . . maybe. McCain might be pretty close.

But ultimately we have crappy choices for government because the voters have bought into the big government theory that they can pick the pockets of others who have more money, never looking back at all the people ready to pick their pockets.

Christ, we have a US Senator seriously suggesting that executives kill themselves. Mainstream news stories are out urging AIG to ignore it's contractual obligations. And this is all about a paltry 1/8 of a billion in bonuses compared to the trillions in bailouts - like being forced to pay for a cab ride from LA to New York, then ready to kill people over a $2 toll road decision.

WTF is wrong with people? It's not the politicians. It's us!
