Of course this photo was cooked as well. Look at the black label on girl's book and compare with the one on GW's. Also look at the picture on the back of the cover - see how close to the edge it is on GW's book and how far on girl's book.
good eye

Look at the picture on the back. It's a mirror image of itself, top to bottom. Whoever created the fake didn't think to not only flip it top to bottom but also left to right.

Is that photo from when he visited South Korea, and was taking a look at the DMZ and North Korea?

Not sure as to that, but probably. However, I am sure that the man on the right in the photo is GEN Thomas Schwartz, who has since retired. His youngest child, a son, is a classmate of mine here at the Academy, as well as a good friend. If you all would really like to know, I can have him ask his father about the photo. After all, he IS in the picture, and he WAS there.

I have a similar pair of BInoculars such as those...which I use when hunting..

the reason the lens covers are still on , is its because they are INFRARED and if the covers are off during the day it will burn out the sensors....

the lens covers only come off at night....

there is a pin hole in the middle of each lens cover to allow enough light to pass through....
