Dual Video Cards

Quote from nitro:

Why do you have to stand over people and beat them down when they are just asking for help?

Poor Nitro, you are still hallucinating. You are accusing me of what I never did. If I can, I do help people who ask for help and a part of that help is "beating down" people who are talking deceptive nonsense and confuse the others.

A steal indeed. It's a real bargain for this good but just a bit outdated (1998) card. Note, it's got only 4MB of memory (per display). Nonetheless I'd rather take my chances with new Jaton 3DFORCE S-64 QUAD AGP card which you can have (as of today) for $46 including s&h:.

Good to know for the future as I may look into a sysytem for a trading buddy.

4MB works for me though. I only use about 4 colors, and have 17 inchers so the res doesn't have to be that high.

Cheers,
Jay

If the use includes gaming, I'd go with 128MB version:

For $13 more bucks you get today's technology and warranty. Looks like nobrainer to me.
Thanks for the links. Do you know these cards personally? Can't believe how prices have changed. My Appian Jeronimo Pro Quad card, which has worked great, cost me $900 at the end of 1999. Whew.

Colorgrapghics Evolution 4 card from Ebay fo $33 including postage. (PCanytime, Canadian).

I was wrong, that is the best deal for a quad card.

Sorry folks, I unintentionally misinformed you about Jaton card. Upon closer review it turned out that the word "Quad" in that card's name refers to variety of video outputs (RGB, TV, DVI). Jaton card does not support 4 monitors. If it is too good to be true...

Thanks for the disclaimer. I already told a friend about that card, but he hasn't bought it yet.

Cheers,
Jay

Does windows 2000 support multi monitor cards?

I have a handful of older video cards and was wondering if I can put 2 or more into a pc with win 2k.
