dual video card compatibility without SLI

I am building a conroe system. After originally hoping to get a P5W DH, I have settled for P5B Deluxe as they are actually in stock...

My main concern is that I plan to have an ATI x1900xtx on one x16 pcie and a nVidia NVS 285 on the other for four monitors total.

Anyone want to take a guess as to whether I'm going to have video driver compatability issues here, considering the different manufacturers and all?
 
I've used Nvidia and ATI cards in the same system. So far I haven't had a problem. What is the reason you wish to use two seperate brands? Is that just what you have available?
