dual monitors

lets say I have a single LCD monitor but I want to
buy a dual one...

am I better to find a dual monitor that is moulded
together or do I just buy 2 singles?

then I assume I need to replace the chip so I can
use both of them off 1 computer

you buy two singles (never heard of two "moulded" together).

you don't replace the chip but you must buy a dual video card like

very easy to setup, i drive EIGHT monitors off one computer.

Depending upon your current single card, you may be able to just buy a 2nd compatible single rather than a new dual head.
