Dual monitors

You don't have shadows on your analog ones? Hmmm, maybe I need some better cables or something. . .

I had a similar experience. A given dual monitor card, think it was ATI...had one port standard CRT, the other DVI. The CRT port played fine on an analog monitor. The DVI port when utilizing the VGA/DVI adapter and running another analog monitor played like balls.

It might have been the card, or some kind of phenom. I know that there is defintely a loss of signal integrity when you run this conversion process. I wish they made more dual monitor cards with 2 CRT ports and not one & one.

one of my buddies is using a matrox millenium 450... i think its an older card... but it has dual analog outputs ~ it works great

more expensive than ati though

That's what I am running.

I have a Mitsubishi Daimandtron NF VX1120 analog (15 pin) built for Gateway Computers and a NEC 18" digital (DVI-D) both connected to a single ATI Radeon 8500 Agp Graphics card. The setup works great!
