I had Verizon DSL 3.0 mbs service.
Fairpoint took over Verizon's land line service, In NH.
Now I am getting data spurts during busy times, mornings,
around 9:30 but not so much afternoon.
I am wondering if Fair Usage per day limitations are
being imposed. Although I pay more for a 3 mbs line,
over 1.5 mbs, I never used to have this issue with Verizon.
Are there throughput limitations on DSL?
Speed rattings may be deceptive.
I may try cable now. The rated speed I can get is 6 mbs.
But are there daily throughput limitations that are not
advertised?
May have to call tech support and wait forever.
