DRW New York vs DRW Chicago

Hi all,

I have an offer from DRW for the trading assistant role. I visited both NY's commodities office and their HQ Chicago office. I currently live around NY and would prefer NY > Chicago, location wise. But at the same time, I don't mind jumping to Chicago if it's better for my growth potential.

The way I see it is this: Chicago office has more teams, more people, more general exposure. New York's commodities team on the other hand is smaller, more intense (from what I hear and observe), and I will probably get more responsibilities starting out. I don't really know anything about commodity trading, but then again I don't really know anything about any other group's trading either.

I'm 2 years out of school, currently with a fixed income hedge fund that blew up in '08.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions/advice!
