alcoholics are born that way. You may never know you are an alcoholic because you were brought up in Utah, or the few times you did drink you got so crazy that you just never drank again. Or maybe you only drink at weddings and bar mitzvahs and every time it affects you much different than other people. Alcoholics often go through long periods when they don't drink, just because they don't like the taste and would prefer a Pepsi. But once they start, maybe with the guys from work on Friday night, they will start thinking about doing it again and in a short amount of time it will overpower them.
