Here is a comment from one of the market wizards, Peter Brandt, he has a sustained ROR of 49% spanning 4 decades. Jack Schwagger considers him one of his favorites for this incredible track record. Peter knows the math of trading like few do and tells it like it is. He considers trying to trade for a living on any less than $50k to be beyond ludacris and advocates new traders working on trading in a way that is sustainable over the long haul - the get rich fast crowd that is under capitalized & over leveraged churns & burns out real fast.

Not the luck part ;he most likely meant things happen beyond a traders control. And more than a few stocks have gone up 10 fold, 20 fold =cash makets.

Oh for god sake's. No I'm not selling anything. No the traders mentioned n the article aren't selling anything either.

This started as a post to simply state that you can start out small and end up big. That's it nothing more everybody has gotten way off track and very very negative.

The next time I think I might put something on this forum that was meant to be positive and uplifting a motivational I think I'll just keep it to myself

I started with 400 ran in upto 10k pretty quick, then ran it back down to 3k havent been able to get back on the jazz since ( A Team ref )

That was forex and 200margin, so if i hadnt of lost the plot I'd be 100k+++ easy.

You do not suck. I have started to learn to think of trading as a business. If I lose money in trading, it's my responsibility to know why BEFORE opening the store for business again. Especially when it's losses generated outside of my business expectations.
