He's wrong. I went long right before the drop, and am down 30+ percent on my portfolio. That's pretty much the size of it. Dozu can bite my chode.

Hang in there. I feel for you but I am not far behind you. Whether we listened to @dozu888's rant, unless we are permabears, many of us are also caught off guard.

I lived through 2000 and 2009, they were actually much worse. I remember in the 2009 bear market, my BAC went from $55 to <$2, Wells Fargo from $35 < $6..... From that bottom, I recovered all of the losses and then some. How? I never left the market.
