download speed what is considered good?

I have an office suite I trade at and the internet is slow, Ive been to www.speedtest.net and checked it to confirm it.

I am wondering what is considered acceptable speed that is needed?

It's not the bandwidth that is usually the problem, it's the latency. I use a dedicated T1 connection for trading, I use 20 mb cable connection for my other bs.

I will have to ask if Regus has dedicated t1 lines aval.

I see they have DS3/T3 lines out as well. wonder if that is overkill?

The cost between the T1 and T3 will be hard to overcome unless you are doing very data intensive trading and find significant efficiencies to overcome the cost.

for trading you should use T1 cables for proper connectivity and it is very rare to have problem to conections or so.
