Down to about $90k, where would you park it if your trading skills were trash?

Perhaps you are trying to tell us he is a failed trader because he failed in the past?

I acknowledge and am glad you are different, very successful from the get go. Congratulations.

From what you described, to me he demonstrated persistence, hard work, a keep at it type of guy, one who after years of failures, had an aha moment and reached the other side. Give me any successful trader and I bet you everyone of them has a similar story to tell.

I have been at it since 2010, I know the hard work, the sweat, the failures and disappointments. Even now after 14 years I still believe it is pure luck and not skills that got me there. Let's not forget we are in a period of unusual long bull runs and everyone is elite in a raging bull market.

Peace and wish you continue success.

There are a lot of assumptions in your comments, the fact that the guy who lost over $100,000 trading above his lifestyle range likes your comment shows everything that Einstein commented was correct, everyone comes in to the markets with too high expectations and few lower them enough to succeed, at least they can say they were told and didn't listen, nice dinner party talk.

Now, that does not mean you can't generate market beating returns with knowledge, experience, technology, at 15-20% you need lifestyle and knowledge of a millionaire (HNW) or 0.5% probability of success, but you can equally generate VHNW and UHNW returns and above, yet the probability of that is 0.1% and below, a $20,000 algo on its own cannot compensate.

The lost $130,000 this guy made if he wanted to recover within 2yrs would need 60% per year, and will almost certainly lose more at a later date, you think they will learn from the experience, that's not how the markets work but I understand your eagerness to egg them on (1).

Sure let's say could recover $130k in 1yr on alpha however would make $180k doing it, I've done it for funds before, but that's not how it works, now (1) is the interesting part, the world works on trying to pass their 'survival' to the next person so that they can thrive themselves a little bit more, which is the basis on most of these comments from everyone.

Now if you could recover $130k that person would succeed where everyone else failed by bringing themselves back online in 1yr not 14yrs, but in having the knowledge to do it the person generating those recovery amounts would succeed more, which is contrary to how the society works, the lower you go down the social ranks the more acute this becomes, welcome to the world of the financial markets.

I can attest to that!
When you are desperate, starving, stressed, you mean business to get the answers, you'll find a way.

One of my favourites, if I'm in a tight spot, begin fasting!
It increases the stress and the brain kicks into overdrive.

That's not the reason fasting works, and only then for days until it inverts, but it's a pretty draconian way to achieve something, there are better ways.

Desperation is the first way to lose money in the markets, you are competing with HNW and above, if you don't have their calm and patience, or someone you communicate with who does have that calm and patience, you lose, this will never change.

This is a $20,000 algo for forex, futures and stocks are more, but it's not sold simply for one reason, it works so why would you want to, I've been testing it the past months trading private accounts before it's embedded in the platform, it times continuations and price reversals as institutional unwind positions, the results have been quite spectacular, what it doesn't do is tell you where the price will go before or where it will end, you need price algos for that.

It induces calm at HNW and above, the better you use it the more calm it induces, the definition of genius is taking the complex and making it simple.

Good Morning themickey,

Yes, I agree with that. Desperation definitely helped me. But we all different, and have to learn what makes us better.

How do these kids do it on Reddit?

“AMD Shares ($2900 > $4400) FDX Puts ($4400 -> $27000) NKE Puts ($27000 -> $58000) COIN Calls ($52000 -> $21000) NFLX Calls ($21000 -> $61000) TSLA Puts ($61000 -> $173000)”

Went 4/4 on earnings.

I’m smart enough to realize I just got incredibly lucky so I’m going to just buy shares with this money and say goodbye to options.

I took out $6000 to my RothIRA so I could justify to myself for full porting

Good Morning TrailerParkTed,

Yes indeed, that is what its all about, making that money. Good work man making that money.

Thank-you for taking the time to explain, but I'm not sure if it makes any sense. Nobody trading the ES will say its easy, and desperation for something rarely turns out well. (ie. Women desperate for money turn to porn and it all goes downhill) Being mad at yourself for not making a certain percentage of a daily move is in no way a trading strategy.

It honestly sounds to me like you are somehow coping hard, or trying to put on a winning attitude in order to force a positive change, or to join all the scammers here by just talking a certain way without having to provide any proof.

If you truly somehow went from being a losing trader after years, to a winning trader and turned things around on a dime, then congratulations, but everything you write above makes me think you fell off the deep end and you are trolling everyone.
Good Morning NoahA,

You're more than welcome man. Keep on working at it man. You gotta figure out what works for you, we all different and have different back grounds.
