I'm no fan of Newt, but he hit that nail on the head.

But let us not forget who Obama's competition was: John McCain -- George W. Bush with incipient senility. Really, the Republicans just handed the Democrats the presidency on a platter.

So we get Obama -- George W. Bush III.

I hear what you're saying though. In 2008 it was anyone but a republican, now hopefully it's anyone but Obama.

While I will vote for whoever gets the GOP nomination for POTUS, I can't say as I'm truly excited about any of the current candidates.
Just hoping Obama doesn't get another four years.

Our system needs a major overhaul IMO.
