You can lift the Ask when the price is limit down. You just cant hit the bid.

Again here we are and not one individual predicted this. Every single bank and analyst was calling for another double digit return on the s$p and here the markets are falling with no end of recovery anytime soon. Markets could easily fall back to 2016 lows right before trump won the election!!! That's a other 10,000+ dow points!!!!!

Yes it can trade higher just not lower until rth. Last time I remember this happening was Trumps election night and it ended up near flat by open.
