Dow Component Change..

Can someone please tell me if some stock split or anything else unusual happened in the DJIA.

I got an email from CBOT yesterday. I didn't even read it but I think the subject was "New Dow Divisor" so that may be what happened.

Damn it.. How often do they change this divisor.. I am sick of it...

You sure you received that email yesterday?

"New DJIA Divisor

Due to UTX stock split on 6/10/2005 the new DJIA divisor is now

.13033708"

We just had a new divisor a month ago...

Anyone know the newest dow divisor.. .plz help me out.. I cannot find it....

cat split 2 for 1....

do simple division and you can figure out the divisor...

dow is price weighted....

the divisor changes on entries, deletions or splits...

cat posted the split a month ago...
