Hi EasyMon1,

For your info there is a backtest of the double bottom formation in the August 2020 issue of Stocks and Commodities Magazine.

This formation generated $114,522 net profit ($126 per trade) in 20 years (909 trades) with a 6.9% maximum drawdown. Size of each position was $10K. Backtest was conducted on liquid stocks from the S&P 500 and the Russell 3000.

While the pattern is still profitable, $126 average profit per trade is a rather poor performance if you ask me.

Remember the golden rule of promoting strategies.

If it works, milk it to death, create a YT channel, sell a course, do an interview on CNN etc.
If it doesn't scrub the history clean so even that guy out of CSI with his little ultraviolet light can't find any evidence that you promoted it.

Golden rule is
NEVER listen to professional writers and talkers.

When there is double top, treis top, tettares top, pente top, hex top, multi top,
price may continue to go up, or reverse direction and go down.


Same for double bottom, treis bottom ....

always do your own analysis, and focus on your charts.
