Double Diagonal mixing weeklys and monthlys

Does anyone know if you can do a double diagonal with weeklys and monthlys mixed?

ie, Short the weekly and long the monthlys and then keep rolling the weeklys?


It could be a very interesting play, no?
 
Seem OK if you get free commission.

You essentially divide the theta in 4 and paid the commission 4 times.

You roll 4 time per month instead of one!!! Too much work!!!
 
Yes, your broker should recognise for cross-margin.

Double diagonals/time flies can be implemented.

I've been doing this strategy for about 6 weeks now and I'm happy with the results so far. I have Sept. calls and puts and short the weeklys on most weeks. I dont always short the weeklys, only when I feel the situation is right.
