There is no honor there can't be any.
Anyone can say anything. You pick someone up or argue something till it stops. You fall out with anonymous posters then you discuss and argue with someone else.

You lied in an attempt to trip up RS7 where's the honor in that?

Isn't it a little too serious to continuously poke at one poster (hey that nearly rhymes!!).

I don't follow Thunder or Darkhorse around and yet I consider them both to be liers and fraudsters.

Of course there is, it's one's own personal code of honor that manifests itself by telling the truth.

This is fine for personal opinions on politics and finance. It does not include personal deeds, the nature of which must allow for interoggatories to satisfy the disbeliever. And if one is always telling the truth, in that regard, then there is nothing to be upset about.

The out is simple. Respond with direct and concrete knowledge, not meandering and specious excuses, accusations and name calling.

And listen, the guy has every opportunity to simply make correct comments on his story. You were trading in Monaco? Fine, but don't state three different versions, claim that there was a 7 hour time difference and not know about the basic environs, especially after telling us you were there multiple times. The sick joke of a SE Asia secret mission stands on it's own.

I don't "follow" RS7 around, I only respond when he comes up with one of his outlandish cartoon characterizations of his alleged life. Here's a quote:

"I have traded on the floor of the CBOT and CBOE and AMEX. I have traded as a market maker, a firm trader, a prop trader, and a money manager. I have been successful at all of these endeavors."

Does this statement sound truthful? Out of context, I have no idea, but considering his many other stories, and please, his favorite word is "I," one has to wonder if this too is not just a little far fetched.

I guess Max's lack of shame is my fault. Well that would exactly figure.

For a guy who "doesn't" follow me around, he did a good job of coming into THIS THREAD out of nowhere and interrupting a debate that had zero correlation to any of his "challenges" about my "alleged life". Interesting.

Here he beats what should be a dead issue by again claiming that I could never have traded on the floor of those exchanges. Yet, I gave him the name of the company I worked with and he could easily find for himself that I not only traded on the CBOT, the CBOE and AMEX, but also had seats on the PHLX, and the PSE. But it is easier for him/her to just continue with the ranting. Hey MAX!!!!.....Check out WSF Trading. I told you how! Time for Max to get over it...Max loses another stupid and meaningless challenge.

As far as the other stuff, where I traded and for whom, it is none of MAXIE's business, as I am still involved in that part of my career. Which is still saying FAR MORE than anything Maxie has told anyone about his/her life.

Now, unlike Maxie, I haven't the patience to read all his/her/it's old posts. But I do recall Max's reply to something I asked once. Max posted some attack on me at some ungodly hour of the morning. I asked if that was how he/she/it spent his/her sleepless nights....posting attacks at 4 or 5 am. (whatever the exact time was....unlike Max, I am not that detail oriented). The response to me was something like "what makes you think I am in that time zone" (this being US Eastern). So I tried to ask him/her a zillion times where he/she lives. Never answered. But obviously the East Coast is EXACTLY where he/she lives. Because how many times has he/she called me on mistakenly thinking that Monaco was 7, and not 6 hours ahead of EST? So Max apparently really does stay up all night researching old posts and finding major inconsistencies to go crazy about. HOW FUCKING PATHETICALLY SAD!!!! (BTW, EST is not the only time zone Max..when I traded in Monaco, my reference was Central time...I was living and working in Chicago.....a 7 hour time difference)

I also sent Maxie a PM explaining that the Vietnam experiences were really a compilation of both my own, and my brother in laws. I did this for the sake of brevity and to simplify a few points of argument. It was not my intention to be completely accurate about everything. It was my intention in that thread to try and get across the point that WAR SUCKS! (which, apparently, Max does not agree with). So, Maxie knew this, yet continued to rant on about inconsistencies. And not only did he/she/it do this, but he/she/it quoted some of what I sent him/her/it privately and did it out of context. So Max is a sad case. Max is devoid of a real life, will never have a spouse or children or anyone who can live in his/her world of hatred and bitterness. I would feel sorry for and pity such a person under most circumstances. But not this time. Here we have a person that revels in his/her own misery and is on a mission to spread it.

Anyone can click on the posts of MAX401 and see the recurring theme of negativity and personal attacks. If it isn't me, it's someone else. Nothing constructive to say. Nothing to add to any thoughtful debate. Nothing worth any effort to read.

Max came into this very thread that had evolved into a debate about Arabs and Palestinians and Israel and many things of interest to many people. But rather than express his/her thoughts on the subject at hand, GUESS WHAT?.....not a word about what was being discussed. (obviously Max has no opinions on world events, just on attacking individuals in an anonymous forum). Just another attack on my credibility. "rs7 was never in Monaco and never could have been". Yet after I foolishly wasted time giving him/her/it absolute "proof" as he/she/it always craves, Maxie still continued the mad ranting.

What else is there to say? Max lives in the only reality there is. A virtual, nameless, anonymous and hopeless reality. The one where anyone can attack others without having to face real world consequences. If he/she said one fraction of what he/she/it said to and about me in real life, I would have a party with libel and slander suits against this "person". And my wife, who is an attorney that fights hate organizations, and has helped to draft the hate crimes legislation in several states, would be exactly the right person to see to it that maxie was justly put in his/her/it's place. (although, truthfully, she would not waste a moment of her time with max, as I so foolishly have).

It is easy to slander someone on these boards. Max, anytime you wish to take this into the real world, let me know. I will accommodate you in every way. In the mean time, I strongly suggest you find another hobby. Get an interest in YOUR OWN LIFE. Of course you would require a LIFE to do that, so get started. You have not only wasted my time, but everyone's.

Anyone who doubts my take on MAX401, well just click on where it shows the number of posts below his/her/it's name, and check out how this "person" has contributed nothing but negativity, slander, hatred and vile spewing of anti-social viewpoints on virtually every post he or she or it has placed on ET.

These two don't go together Max. You can't really justify the second statement and at the same time hold up such demanding standards which must also attribute your own integrity to the first statement .
In my opinion you are mixing up the moral expectations of anonymous cyber personas with those of real life and personal relationships.

If we are to apply your declared requirements for probity, I am afraid that they are every bit as valid especially the last, where in a financial / trading forum there are plenty of people who apparently tell some rather big mistruths to put it mildly. Interrogating these also would seem like a priority in your obvious determination for "truth".

Only my opinions ....don't get mad at me. :) I am weak and defenseless and a bad lier (but corruptible).

Max lacks self-esteem and, in order to compensate for that, spends all of his time looking up people on bulletin board services and chat rooms and trying to inject some purpose in his otherwise dreary, sad, lonely and isolated existence.
 
In that case ....I own up to not being defenceless and weak. I am BIG, strong, hard and not to be messed with. (Still corruptible):D

You know, I had one rule in my trading room. It came about after I got kinda sick of hearing all the cursing. I am certainly not a prude, but it got annoying hearing "fucking this, fucking that" all day long. Every fill, every loss of an fraction of a point. Every tick against someone's position evoked a curse. So I finally said...."Curse, but make it have an impact".

So essentially, I see no upside to using expletives as part of normal conversation or communication. I think they need to be saved so when they are used, they have IMPACT!!! Otherwise, they just have no meaning.

So there you have it. Max is FUCKING PATHETICALLY SAD!!!

Please... you were not referring to living and working 7 hours away in the CST. You were talking about the East coast markets which close at 4:00 PM EST, 6 hours away and closes at 10 PM:

BTW, I used to trade out of Monte Carlo. Market would close at 11pm. Just in time to hit Lowes.

BTW, the CBOE closes at 4:15 PM EST.
